I’m Alexandra Miranda, an artist.
For a long time the word frightened me. Today I wear it fully.
My passions run in several directions: fashion, photography, ceramics. Nature led me into parks and gardens, where I photographed portraits in the soft hours of the day. The same love gave me my still lifes, built from light and shadow. Fashion has always lived in my self portraits, until they slipped out of the frame and became my female forms in clay.
Ceramics keeps me grounded, creative, and close to my happy place: the Mediterranean. If I can’t live by the sea, I’ll bring the sea to me. Each piece is shaped, carved, glazed, and signed by hand in a small studio, and no two are alike.
As I keep evolving, my art transforms with me.
