Handmade Ceramic Shell Serving Dish, Food Safe Pottery, Butter or Dip Dish, Mediterranean Table
Handmade Ceramic Shell Serving Dish, Food Safe Pottery, Butter or Dip Dish, Mediterranean Table
$60.00
A scalloped shell dish, hand-built in stoneware and glazed in a speckled cobalt that pools deeper in the ridges and scatters like sea spray across the rim.
Every piece is shaped by hand from a single lump of clay — no molds, no two alike. The scalloped edge is cut and smoothed by hand, the fluted base carved before the first firing. Small variations in the speckling, the curve of the edge, and the thickness of the glaze are part of how the piece is made.
Use it for rings and earrings on a bedside table, for soap at the sink, for olives and salt at the table, or simply as an object that catches the light.
Details

Dimensions: 5,1/4" x 4" x .3/4
